Jessie Ray Bishop, 76, of Fort Smith, formerly of Cedarville, died Monday, October 25, 2021 in Fort Smith. He was a retired self-employed woodworker, and an army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He loved karaoke and singing, people, traveling, preaching, and fishing. He had also worked at the Cedarville Senior Center.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Cluck of the home, a daughter Jessica Goodwin of Muldrow, OK, three sons Brian Bishop of Roland, OK, Brandon Bishop of Muldrow, OK, Bradley Bishop of San Francisco, CA, a sister Helen Boggs of Tamaha, OK, two brothers Junior Bishop of Muldrow, OK, and Johnny Bishop of Sallisaw, OK, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am Friday, October 29, 2021 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, October 28. 2021 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
