In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Berna; a daughter, Regina Gale Troub; a granddaughter, Alexis Nicole Poore; four siblings, Judy Kirkham, Theresa Goforth, Barbra Price and Bobby Berna.
He is survived by a son, Eddie Dewayne Berna; three sisters, Elizabeth Taylor, Linda Cobb, Beverly Rapper; eight grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at New Cemetery in Mulberry under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Trevor Scott, Roger Dale, Dennis Wayne, Preston Barker, Mark Woolsey and John Woolsey.
Family will visit with friends Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR.
