John Lamar Foster

John Lamar Foster, 71, of Mulberry, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at his home. He was born December 6, 1946 in Manchester, GA to the late Arthur and Ellen Foster. He was retired from Hickory Springs. He was preceded in death by his first and second wife, Zona Foster and Sue Foster; and a grandson, Braxton Goins.

He is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Cantrell and husband Jody, and Marty Goins, all of Alma; two sons, Eddie Foster and wife Peggy of Fort Smith, and Robbie Woods and wife Susan of Anderson, MO; a brother, Ray Foster and wife Earline of Arkoma; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2018 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Jody Cantrell, JR Williams, Eric Brown, Robbie Woods, Joe McGuire, and Shawn Harmon. Honorary pallbearers will be co-workers from Hickory Springs.

The family will visit with friends from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour, Monday, January 22, 2018, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
