John Joe Macias, 56, of Alma, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at his home. He was born May 19 1969 in Hayward, California to the late Jesse and Mary Margaret (Kellogg) Macias. He was a truck driver and enjoyed spending time at the lake.
He is survived by two daughters, Desiree Macias of Arizona, and Meagan Nichols of Van Buren; two sons, Ashton Macias of Alma, and Cody Macias of Iowa; a sister, Tina Smith of Hayward, California; two brothers, Sal Jesse Macias and Mark Allen Macias, both of Hayward, California; and three grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2026 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with cremation to follow, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
