Joyce Marie Maddox

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph E. Hutchens and Robert W. Maddox; two sons, Bobby Maddox and Rusty Maddox; her parents, Milburn and Florence (Whittle) Standard; three sisters, Joan Sheridan, Margarette O’Dell, and Barbara Redding; and two brothers, Harold and Edward Standard.

She is survived by four daughters, Donna Viles of Lohman, MO, Cheryl Hutchens-Perry of Alma, Connie Ruggirello of Bloomfield, CA, and Debbie Pruitt of Judsonia; a son, Ralph Hutchens, Jr. of Colma, CA; two sisters, Mildred Breeden of Alma, and Jane Travis of Van Buren; fifteen grandchildren, Ernest, Alisha, Amber, Seth, Rachel, Camryn, Matthew, Daniel, Christopher, Jeanie, Kristy, Rodney, Michael, Frankie, and Annette; and numerous great-grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 13, 2021 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Jack Snack Program at 1429 Alma Drive in Alma 72921. The Jack Snack Program provides snacks for kids in grades K-2nd Grade at Alma Primary School in Alma. If a child doesn't have a snack for the day, they can select one from the Jack Snack Basket.
