Juanita Garr

Juanita Garr, 91, of Van Buren, Arkansas, died, Sunday, December 26, 2010 in her home. She was born April 11, 1919 in Alma, Arkansas. She was a retired LPN at Sparks and a member of First Assembly of God Church in Van Buren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Garr.

She is survived by one daughter, Wanda Wait of Van Buren; two sons, Douglas Garr and his wife, Sissy of Van Buren, AR and Randall Garr of Alma, AR; one sister, Bonnie Lou Loyd of Fort Smith, AR; 8 grandchildren, Michelle Allison of Van Buren, AR, Bobby Wait of Van Buren, AR, Kevin Garr of Alma, AR, Kerri Hoyle and her husband, Greg of Mulberry, AR, Robert Garr and his wife, Sharon of Fort Smith, AR, Kim Dean and her husband, Jerry of Van Buren, AR, Paul Martin of Greenwood, AR, and Cassie Lawson and her husband, Shawn of Van Buren, AR; as well as numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at First Assembly of God Church in Van Buren with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Wait, Kevin Garr, Robert Garr, Cody Garr, Alex Hoyle, and Paul Martin.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR.
