Judy R. Moore

Judy R. Moore, 67, of Fort Smith, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014 in Fort Smith. She was born May 29, 1946 in Henryetta, OK to the late Perry and Lenore (Baldwin) Capps. She worked in Sporting Goods at Wal-Mart on Kelley Highway in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Moore.

She is survived by a daughter, Sherry Copeland and husband Stephen P. of Van Buren; a son, Billy Moore and wife Teresa of Sallisaw; a brother, Bill Griffin of Chicago; three grandchildren, Stephen R. Copeland of Van Buren, Hollie Witney of Van Buren and James Michael Copeland of Tulsa; one great-granddaughter, Desarae Copeland; five step-grandchildren, Amber Camp of Tahlequah, Amy Owens of Greenwood, and Jo, Jennifer and Sarah Camp of Sallisaw; a niece, Vicki Yarnell of Broken Arrow, and several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel in Van Buren with burial to follow at Gill Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Stephen P. Copeland, James Michael Copeland, Troy Clough, Terry Parks and Stephen R. Copeland.

The family will visit with friends Thursday, May 29, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR.
