Karla Dean Burkhart Norried, 58, of Van Buren, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 in Fort Smith. She was born April 12, 1963 in Fort Smith. She was the owner/operator of Twig-Out Salon. She was preceded in death by her father, Merle Burkhart.
She is survived by her husband, David Hartley; her mother, Shirley Burkhart; a sister, Donna Wallace; a brother, Keith Burkhart, all of Van Buren; and so many more friends and family.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at New Life Van Buren with interment at Mount McCurry Cemetery in Rudy, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Brady Coleman, Kyle Wallace, Rickey Bowles, Brad Francis, Tristan Wallace, and Que Bell.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2022, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
