Kathy Diane Nelson, 56, of Barling, passed away Friday July 22, 2016 in Barling. She was born January 20, 1960 in Van Buren. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Nelson; father, John Edgar; and a brother, Danny Ray Edgar.
She is survived by two daughters, Kelly Harris of Mountain Home, and Tamara Henson of Cedarville; a son, Kevin Nelson of Strafford, MO; her mother, Velma Butler of Kibler; four sisters, Brenda Klebanoff of Fayetteville, Rhonda Beals of Van Buren, Kristie Moore of Alma, and Vicky Ashworth of Fort Smith; seven brothers, Donald Edgar of Altus, Allen Edgar of Van Buren, Chris Edgar and Ronnie Edgar, both of Little Rock, Kenneth Darrow of Mountainburg, Harley Darrow of Kibler, and Robert Darrow of Fort Smith; and eight grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
