

Kenneth Larry Bergeron, 76, of Van Buren, peacefully passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025. He was born October 11, 1948 in San Franciso to the late Armand and Josephine (Bellith) Bergeron. Ken grew up in San Francisco, graduating from Balboa High. He enlisted in the Army after leaving High School having served two tours in Vietnam. Ken was a Sgt. in the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He was awarded a bronze star metal and special award for coming up with an extra stitch for parachute safety. It was inserted into the military manual and is still being implemented today. He was a proud patriot. He was a fan of ghost hunting, UFO chasing, and conspiracy theories. He enjoyed camping, skating, music, playing chess, and collecting guns and knives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Alan; and a niece, Vicky.
He is survived by his children, Cherisse Bergeron of San Francisco, Kenny Bergeron and wife Amanda of Madera, CA, and Kristy Bergeron of Arkansas; his brother, Richard Bergeron and wife Paulette; six grandsons, Nathan, Raiden, Dayton, Aries, Chance, and
Jr.; a niece, Michele Bergeron; and nephews, Richard Bergeron, Jr., Mark Bergeron, and Farley Bergeron.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. Ashes will be placed at the Fayetteville National Cemetery with military honors Monday, March 17, 2025, at 11:30 a.m.
