Kenton Brown

Kenton Brown, 85, of Alma, AR, died Monday, October 10, 2011 in his home. He was born November 1, 1925 in Cecil, AR. He was a Carpenter and worked for Dixie Cup and a member of Mountain Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fern Brown; his parents Jessie and Dorothy Brown, three sister, one brother and a great granddaughter, Angelina Huggins.

He is survived by four daughters, Marsha Brown of Springdale, AR, Denise Barton of Alma, AR, Dana McMahen of Alma, AR and Helen Vines of Alma, AR.; two sons, Keith Brown of Alma, AR and Kevin Brown of Alma, AR; a brother, Leamon Brown of Minnesota; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Mountain Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Alma, AR with the burial at Love Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be J.D. Brown, Justin Brown, Caleb Brown, Michael McMahen, Brian McMahen and Kevin Brown.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
