Kirk Shryer, 75, of Fort Smith, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018. He was born November 3, 1942 in Kansas City. He was a retired analyst with Northrop Grumman, and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Connie Shryer of the home; three daughters, Tammy Muniz of Washington, Tracey Hutchens of California, and Jamey Stevens of Rudy; two sons, Bret Shryer of California, and Brian Shryer of Fort Smith; his mother, Norma Swanson of Brandon, MS; a sister, Patty Foy of Pearl, MS; three brothers, Al Shryer of Great Falls, MT, Mike Shryer of Eaton, OH, and Charles Shryer of Brandon, MS; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2018 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with cremation to follow, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
