Larry Van Belt, 67, of Van Buren, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 at his home. He was born August 18, 1946 in Springfield, MO to the late Idus and Margie Belt. He was retired from the Van Buren Walmart, and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Neal Belt.
He is survived by his wife, Margo of the home; two daughters, Kimberly Belt of Van Buren, and Tiffany Armer and husband Michael of Bristow, OK; two sons, James Craig Belt and wife Patricia of Alma, and Rodney Belt of Fort Smith; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday June 9, 2014 at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Danny Likens, Justin Likens, Clay Franklin, Michael Armer, Chris Belt, and Austin Belt.
The family will visit with friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
