He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Spoon; a sister, Patsy Spoon; and a brother, Jimmy Spoon.
He is survived by a daughter, Gail Leggett of Mansfield; a son, Larry Bernard Jr. and wife Mandy of Mansfield; a brother, Darrell Spoon of Spiro; and two grandchildren, Alyssa Bernard and Jeremiah Butler.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. There are no services scheduled at this time.
