Lera Mae Fields

Lera Fields, 78, of Mountainburg, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021 at her home. She was born January 27, 1943 to the late Harve and Mentie (Brewer) Howell. She was a member of Alma Full Gospel Outreach Church where she taught Sunday school. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Harold “Sonny” Fields.

She is survived by two sons, Dwayne Fields and wife Pam of Mountainburg, and Darren Fields and wife Amanda of Mulberry; four sisters, Caroleen Nelson, Francis Henson, Gale Howell, all of Uniontown, and Beckey Leggett of California; three brothers, Paul Howell of Uniontown, Lee Howell of Van Buren, and Ray Howell of Uniontown; ten grandchildren, Joshua Fields and wife Molly, Caleb Fields, Cheyann Claybaugh and husband Jonathan, Sierra Fields, Montana Fields, Auburn Fields, Georgia Fields, Tacoma Fields, Dakoda Fields, and Journey Fields; and two great-grandsons, Solomon Knox and Connor Claybaugh.

Family-hosted graveside memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the Conley Cemetery Arbor in Mountainburg. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
