He is survived by his wife, Dorothy “George” Briggs of the home; his fur baby, Rusty; his mother-in-law, Fannie Walls of Alma; several nieces and nephews; and a whole host of friends.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Colton Walls, Wesley Watkins, Roger Clark, Tommy Joe McClain, Gary Don Slavens, and Pat Owen. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Walls, Jerry Walls, Bobby Walls, Don Watkins, Jerry Jones, and Bill Stokes.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
