Leslie Charles Neal

Leslie Charles Neal, 83, a lifelong resident of Cedarville, born February 5, 1943, peacefully passed on Friday, March 13, 2026. Leslie was retired from the Arkansas Oklahoma Gas company, and was a Master Mason with the Cedarville Masonic Lodge 762. He loved being outdoors, fishing, gardening, and most of all spending time with his family.

Leslie was proceeded in death by his parents, Carl and Mavis Neal; and a brother, Doyle Neal.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Laverna Kay Neal; a daughter, Mavis Lawson Tom and husband Robert; a son, Robert Neal and wife Kim; and a brother, Randy Neal and wife Donna, all of Cedarville. Leslie had twelve grandchildren, Brandon, Ethan and Savannah, Dillon and Caylie, Aaron, Isaiah, Baylee, Drew, Kaelyn, Regan, and Annelina; and six great-grandchildren, Max, Sam, Elsie, Madi, Chloe, and Zoe.

Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren. A private family celebration will be communicated in the coming days.

Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Mizell, Ethan Mizell, Dillon Mizell, Drew Neal, Aaron Lawson, Isaiah Tom, and Moody Ramey.

At Les’ request, in lieu of a funeral service, the family will receive drop-in visitors from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at “L.C.’s Doghouse”.
