

Leslie Wade Snell, Sr., 84, of Charleston, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026 at his home. He was born June 15, 1941 in Winslow to the late Hollis and Marie (Shipmon) Snell. He was retired from Farmland, and Chaffin Junior High School.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Flossie Snell; two sons, Bill and Scott Snell; and four brothers, William Shipmon, Hollis “Sony” Snell, Frankie Snell, and James Snell, Sr.
He is survived by a daughter, Lori Cook of North Carolina; a son, Les Snell of Oklahoma; five sisters, Betty Buckner, Wanda Asher, Brenda Fight, Carolyn Wilhelm, and Phyllis Norried, all of Van Buren; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2026 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Roy Asher, James Snell, Jr., Kevin Stansbury, Darrick Middleton, Justin Snell, and Dakota Snell.
