Lois Henson

Lois Henson, 82, of Alma, AR, died Monday, January 2, 2012 in a local hospital. He was born October 29, 1929 in Dyer, AR. He was a retired truck driver for Goodnoh Trucking Co, served in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean Conflict, attended Dyer Assembly of God, member of Crawford County Riding Club and was a cattleman and farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents; Cora and Thell Henson and a sister, Bonnie Rhea Wright.

He is survived by numerous relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 9, 2012 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren, AR with burial at Dyer Cemetery in Dyer, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Roger Wise, Cody Wise, Jerry Moore, Mack Anderson, Justin Blasingame and Greg Lawrence.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Harold Pointer, Joe Beckham, P.B. Branch, Harold Williams, Odell Kimes and Odean Belt.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
