Lou Ellen Osburn

Lou Ellen Osburn, 80, of Dyer, AR, died Sunday, August 28, 2011 in fort Smith, AR. She was born April 27, 1931 in Visalia, CA. She was a LPN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend W.E. Osburn; a daughter, Nancy Osburn; a grandson, Donald Reed Jr.; two brothers, Bobby Brooke and Jim Brooke.

She is survived by three daughters, Kathey Collins and her husband Scott of Dyer, AR, Linda Fortner and her husband Mike of Nelsonville, OH, Deborah Turner and her husband Jack of Roland, OK; a son, William Osburn Jr. and his wife Jeannette of Greenwood, AR; four sisters, Betty Tackla of Spokane, WA, Alice Borssard of WA, Peggy Priest of Spokane, WA, Judy Straton of Spokane, WA; two brothers, Earl Thomas Brooke Jr. of Spokane, WA, Jack Brooke of Fort Pearce, FL; 17 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Crossroad Church, 15024 Hwy. 715 Fort Smith, AR with burial at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Schibbelhut, Eddie Cagle, Michael Sellers, Jason Schibbelhut, Quinton Carr, Korbin Polly, Bryant Schibbelhut, Kolton Schibbelhut and Kurtis Schibbelhut.

The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR
