Lucille Hayes Shelly

Lucille (Wonderly) Hayes Shelly, 96, passed away Sunday March 8, 2015 at her home in Van Buren. She was born in Ridgeway, Pa. to James H. and Pearl V. Wonderly and preceded in death by her husband, Walter Hayes, who died in 1954. She was retired from Commercial Bank of Alma after many years of service, and a member of First Assembly of God Church in Van Buren.

Survivors include her husband, Herbert W. Shelly; a brother, Thomas Wonderly of Alma; two children and spouses, Richard and Phyllis Hayes of Glen Allen, Va.; and Betty and L.C. Gunn of Kibler, Ark.; two step-children and spouses, Wesley and Sandra Shelly of Van Buren, and Larry and Brenda Shelly of Fort Smith; four grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Alma Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, Ark.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, Ark.
