Lynn M. Kane, 63, of Van Buren, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026 in Fort Smith. She was born February 20, 1963 in Green Bay, Wisconsin to the late Edgar and Viola (Gee) Bruening. She was a Health Unit Coordinator at St. Vincent Hospital for over 20 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Gail Henquinette, Dawn VanOoyen, and Vicky Sheffer.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Kane of the home; two daughters, Michelle Colbert and husband Cody of Fort Worth, and Mellisa Kane of Van Buren; three sisters, Kaye LaBrosse and Connie Bukoske, both of Green Bay, and her twin-sister, Lori Growt of Sarasota, Florida; a brother, Mark Bruening of Green Bay; two grandchildren, Cory and Cainan Colbert; and her two dogs, Harley and Daisy.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
