Mabel Petty, 82, of Fort Smith, died Monday, December 10, 2012, at her home. She was born May 8, 1930 in DeQueen, AR to the late Orvil and Martha Looney. She was a retired nurse with Wilson & Jones Hospital in Sherman, TX. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Petty.
She is survived by her children, Saundra Linton and Rick Petty of Sherman, TX.
Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
