Mac Anderson, 75, of Alma, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 at his home. He was born November 29, 1942 in Van Buren to the late George and Grace Anderson. He was retired from the Alma School District.
He is survived by his wife, Freeda Anderson of the home; two daughters, Christy Hollan of Van Buren, and Kim Hampton of Alma; two sisters, Mavis Bess of Sallisaw, and Maxine Hines of Pensacola, FL; and two grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 8, 2017 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Peevyhouse Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Randy Hobbs, Johnny Anderson, David Anderson, Johnny Robbins, Tommy Wilkinson, and Steve Staggs.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2017, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
