He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Woody, Lydia (Kerley) Woody, and Rhoda (Harvey) Woody; a sister, Shirley Gonzales; and two brothers, Keith and Larry Woody.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Woody of the home; a daughter, Sheri Spohn and husband Steve of Neosho, MO; two sisters, Joyce Howell of Richardson, TX, and Helen Stevens of Bailey, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him.
Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Concord Baptist Church in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. Ashes will be placed at Woody Cemetery.
