Marie Langley, 73, of Mulberry, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at her home. She was born January 15, 1941 in Mulberry to the late Albert and Charlotte Medlock. She was retired from Therma-Tru, and a homemaker. She was a member of the Open Door Church of Mulberry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Dow Langley; a daughter, Kerroll Cowan; two brothers, Odell and Paul Albert Medlock; two sisters, Ruby Mitchell and Dorothy Medlock; and a grandson, Markus Jordan.
She is survived by a stepdaughter, Cindy McCoy of Mulberry; a son, Bobby Morse and fiancé Janice McCoy of Mulberry; a sister, Mary Geraldine Harness and husband Tom of Mulberry; a brother, Kenneth Medlock and wife Stella of Dyer; six grandchildren, Kodey Morse, Tyler Morse, Gary Jordan, Jessie Jordan, Brianna McCoy, and Phillip McCoy; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014 at the First Assembly of God in Mulberry, with interment to follow at New Cemetery in Mulberry, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and a nephew. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Mitchell and Tom Harness.
The family will visit with friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
