

Marjorie Jo Armstrong Howard, 75, of Van Buren, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017 in Fort Smith. She was born December 10, 1941 in Kansas City, MO to the late William and Isabel Armstrong. She was an accounts receivable clerk and a homemaker, and a member of Heritage United Methodist Church in Van Buren where she was active in their food pantry.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Howard of the home; two daughters, Kelly Faulk and husband Lt. Col. David M. Faulk of Lansing, KS, and Cindy Hernandez and husband Paul of Greenwood; two sons, Sean Leonard of Carrollton, TX, and Wayne Howard and wife Candy of Cedarville; a sister, Judith Anne Standley of Independence, MO; eleven grandchildren including Savannah Jane Faulk, Riley Faulk, and Peyton Grace Faulk; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Heritage United Methodist Church in Van Buren with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Lt. Col. David Faulk, John Faulk, James Faulk, Wayne Howard, Jeremy Howard, and Chance Howard. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill George and Paul Hernandez.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2017, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
