Marjorie Ellene Summerhill

Marjorie Ellene Summerhill, 91, of Coweta, OK, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 in Broken Arrow. She was born October 10, 1925 in Russellville to the late William and Arbie Huffstetler. She was a homemaker, a member of the Coweta Assembly of God, and loved to sing and garden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Fenley Summerhill; a sister, Mildred Ritchie; and three brothers, Doyle, Bill and John Earl Huffstetler.

She is survived by a daughter, Paula Thompson and husband David of Broken Arrow; a son, David Summerhill and wife Gail of Tracy, CA; a brother, David Huffstetler of Springfield, MO; four grandchildren, Richard Donahue and Andrea Fleming both of Tulsa, Nathan Summerhill of Attalla, AL, and Courtney Summerhill of Fayetteville; and five great-grandchildren, Sam, Meredith, Sarah, Hannah, and Lelo.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Summerhill, Frank Ritchie, David Summerhill, Jimmy Ritchie, and Richard Donahue.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2017, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
