Mark Allen Hare, 71, of Alma, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023 in Fort Smith. He was born November 29, 1952 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Frederick and Barbara (Felter) Hare. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was the owner/operator of Grand Slam Fun Center.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hare; a daughter, Olympia Holiday; three sons, Johnathon Pennington, Adam Harvin, and Cooper Harvin; three brothers, Bruce Hare, Joe Hare, and Chris Hare; and nine grandchildren, Natalie, Olivia, Hudson, Fisher, Zayle, Piper, Huck, Shilo, and Bristol.
Family-hosted memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
