Martha Elizabeth Price, 98, of Rudy, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at her home. She was born September 14, 1928 in Bates, Arkansas to the late Lewis and Nora Bell (Ray) Jones. She had been a supervisor at OK Foods.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Price; a daughter, Wilma Chestnut; a son, Cleo Tune; two sisters, Juanita Tune and Alma Waters; and four brothers, Joe, James, Winfred, and Aubry Jones.
She is survived by six daughters, Beth Acosta of Prairie Grove, Renda Tedford of Cameron, Oklahoma, Sherry Smith of Rudy, Debbie Carter and Hope Jones, both of Arcanum, Ohio, and Robin Toney of Brookville, Ohio; a son, Clyde H.L. Tune of Rudy; a sister, Mary Sue Osburn of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and 133 grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Mount McCurry Cemetery in Rudy, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Wagley II, Kansas Wagley, Johnathan Wagley, Tommy Montoya, Robin Tune, and Brandon Shelton. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2026, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
