Mary Isabel Brown

Mary Isabel Brown, 69, of Van Buren, AR, died Monday, January 6, 2014 in Van Buren. She was born December 22, 1944 in Monterey, CA. She retired after 32 years at Rheem in Fort Smith, AR. She was a loving mother and grandmother and she loved her dogs TT, Elvis, Baybay, and Nicky. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Brown and a sister Terry Nolan.

She is survived by two daughters, Debra Meadows of Van Buren, AR, Twila Cole of Van Buren, AR; three brothers, Virgil Lamb of North Carolina, Don Lamb of Alma, AR, David Jacobs of Wichita, KS; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren. Burial will follow at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Gregory Cole, Ashley Meadows, Greg Cole, Robin Meadows, Mitchell Phillips, and Brian Gist.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR
