Mary Kelly

Mary Kelly, 89, of Dyer, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022. She was born October 4, 1933 in Dyer to the late Oliver and Lucy Thomas. She retired from Gerber Foods, was a member at Westark Church of Christ in Fort Smith. She ran the Dyer library and was Vice President of Genealogical Society at the Alma Library.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Tom Kelly and a daughter, Angela Kelly.

She is survived by a daughter, Cindy Jones Looney and her husband Jerry of Dyer; a granddaughter, Sherry Wyninger of Dyer; and three great grandchildren, Alek Wyninger, Jaxon Wyninger and Maven McGhee, all of Dyer.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Dyer Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Chad Wyninger, Gary Goff, Kim Kincy, Rex Mason, George Lee and Bob Winfrey. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Leakey, Jimmy Cottrell, Dr. Joe Mason, Sam House, Joel Dyer, Sam Whitlock, Dustin Leakey, Jerry Hunter and Ron Stephens.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2022, 2022, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
