Mary "Doris" Lollis

Mary “Doris” Lollis, 83, of Alma, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016. She was born February 28, 1933 in the Graphic Community to the late Garland and Ethel Jones. She was a retired accountant for Allen Canning in Alma, a retired piano teacher, and attended First Baptist Church in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Omer “Buddy” Lollis; the father of her children, Levi “Jack” Rogers; a son-in-law, Robert L. Hill; and four brothers, Armstrong, James, Junior, and Bobby Jones.

She is survived by two daughters, Patti Hill of Alma, and Pam Sivils and husband Ronnie of Alma; three sisters, Louise Sexton of Fort Smith, Betty Bohannon of Greenland, AR, and Nell Brown of Lawton, OK; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with a committal service 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2016 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Hill, Todd Hill, Greg Sivils, and Eli Drinkwitz.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2016, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
