

Mike Hatley, 57, of Alma, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 in Franklin County. He was born November 3, 1960 in Crescent City, CA to the late Hess and Naomi Hatley. He was retired from Bekaert Steel, was a member of Maple Shade Church of the Nazarene, worked at Crawford County Speedway, and loved hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, JoAnn Flowers and Sharon Pope; a brother, Ray Gene Ivy; and in-laws, Jack and Minnie Lou Watson, a.k.a. Paw and Granny.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Jackie Hatley of the home; a daughter, Brandi Hatley of the home; a son, Ben Hatley of Alma; three brothers, Ronnie Hatley of Fort Smith, Keith Hatley of Alma, and Dan Ivy and wife Peggy of Rudy; and his furbabies, Sweetie Pie, Buddy, Ozzy, Becki, Rocky, Squirt, and Maggie Lynne.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Newberry Cemetery in Alma, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Bill Terry, Trampus Terry, Drew Edgmon, Billy Don Watson, Remington Watson, and Greg Preston. Honorary pallbearers will be Donny Evans, D.J. Ivy, Keith Hatley, and Dan Ivy.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 27, 2017, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
