Mildred “Granny” Jones, 89, of Alma, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in Springdale. She was born October 29, 1927 in Aransas Pass, TX. She was a homemaker, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Alma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dow Jones; a son, Roger Jones; and a great-grandson, Ryan Jones.
She is survived by a grandson, Tony Jones and wife Tracie, and two great-grandsons, Nathan Jones and wife Alli, and Robert Rhodes.
Funeral service will be 2:00 Friday, October 6, 2017 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Bolton Cemetery in Alma, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Tony Jones, Nathan Jones, Robert Rhodes, and Justin Colter.
