She was preceded in death by her father, Wendell Lee Hixson.
She is survived by three daughters, Wendy Schooley of Burkburnett, TX, Tammy Shelton of Van Buren, and Christy Cunningham of Fort Smith; a son, Jerry Shelton of Van Buren; her mother, Edna (Bingham) Conas of Moore, OK; two sisters, Theresa Goodson of Fort Smith, and Sissy Hixson Pereira of Oklahoma; a brother, Kenny Hixson of Van Buren; ten grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
