Peter Lefevre, 91, of Van Buren, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014. He was born August 13, 1923 in Jeannette, PA to the late Peter and Edith Fry Lefevre, Sr. He was glass cutter with Harding Glass, and served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII. He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, June Lefevre.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Lefevre of the home; two daughters, Kaye Vincent and Joy Schildhauser both of Van Buren; a son, Peter Lefevre III of Van Buren; a sister Lois Steiner, of Jeannette, PA; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
