I have had the pleasure of knowing Pat for the last ten years or so. His wit, wisdom, love of life, family, friends and God are forever engrained in my heart. Although I didn’t see him often, they were always special times with lots of laughs, friendly teasing, and pure joy. This “lil girl” will forever cherish those times and look forward to seeing that great smile again one day.

My heartfelt condolences to his family. He was a great man!

One of the greatest men I have every known... Loved God, Loved his family, Loved his friends and certainly Loved life! I cherish the times that I was able to spend with him, mostly around the the game he loved, golf. From the times he would say, "Lord help him" or when he called me "Sonny", I will always have strong memories of my friend Pat Patterson!

To the family, you will be lifted up in prayer! God's grace is and always will be Sufficient!

I worked with Pat, at Planters Peanuts, for 20 years. Always got along very well with him. He was a good friend for those 20 years. Played a lot of golf with Pat. Rarely beat him. Never could figure out how he always played so well. Almost every time we played, he had a different set of golf clubs. He sure liked to try out new equipment. Bought a fair amount of golf equipment from Pat when he owned and ran his golf shops in Van Buren.

My lasting memory will be his always present smile. Always was glad to see me when, occasionally, we rant into each other, after we had both left Planters. We always had a good story, or two, to share. Great guy!
