Raymond Spencer

Raymond “Doug” Spencer, 74, of Tulsa, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 in Cedarville. He was born November 29, 1943 in Fort Smith to the late Raymond and Mary Lou Spencer. He was retired from Boeing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Stewart Sargent III.

He is survived by a brother, Mike Spencer and wife Mary Ann of Cedarville; nieces, Laura Rompf and husband Fred of Van Buren, Aly Sargent, Promiss Sargent, Piper Sargent, and Priden Sargent, all of Cedarville; nephews, Michael Spencer of Fayetteville, and Jason Sargent of Cedarville; and his beloved fur baby, Maggie.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Cedarville with cremation to follow, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Rogers, Steve Massey, Darrell Smith, Bobby Norris, Don Habberd, and Ruben Miller.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
