Richard Holthusen, 74, of Chester, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 at his home. He was born January 27, 1948 in Kingfisher, OK to the late Henry and Martha (Luebking) Holthusen. He served in both the United States Army and Navy, and was a retired truck driver.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Pat Holthusen and Darlene Edwards; and three brothers, Paul, Richard, and Steve Holthusen.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Holthusen of the home; a son, Ricky Holthusen and grandson, Matthew Holthusen, both of Tulsa; a granddaughter, Makayla Holthusen of Uniontown; and two brothers, Fred Dickinson of Corpus Christi, and Ed Holthusen of Fort Worth.
Private graveside memorial service will be held at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
