Richard Louis Mayes, 71, of Barling, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026 at his home. He was born June 25, 1954 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late William and Barbara (Smith) Mayes. He had worked in construction.
He is survived by two daughters, Dora Holmes of Barling and Georgia Gaudette of Beech Bluff, Tennessee; and a son, Jason Mayes of Huntington, Arkansas.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. There are no services scheduled at this time.
