Robert Edward Hooper Padersen, 63, of Van Buren, AR, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in his home. He was born August 15, 1947 in Tampa, FL to Marion and Ruth Hooper. He was an electrician and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, David R. Hooper; and two brothers, James Edger Hooper and Ronald Padersen.
He is survived by one son, Ron Hooper and wife Alicia of Van Buren; four sisters, Marian Ostuig of McKinney, TX, Ann Padersen of Stream Woods, IL, Renee Sanders of Amarillo, TX and Tish Livesay of Heavener, OK; and three grandchildren.
Mr. Padersen will be cremated under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home. His ashes will be buried at the U.S. National Cemetery, Fort Smith, at a later date.
