Robert "Bob" M. Lairamore

Robert “Bob” M. Lairamore, 79, of Fort Smith, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at his home. He was born November 18, 1945 in Fort Smith to the late Robert and Lillian (Schenk) Lairamore. He was retired from the Arkansas State Employee Office, and the 188th Air National Guard.

He is survived by his wife, Helena “Nena” Lairamore of the home; three daughters, Christi Lairamore of Fort Smith, Stephanie Garrett and husband Jack of Smithville, VA, and Leslie Parker and husband Clay of Fort Smith; a brother, Bill Lairamore and wife Molly of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren, Zackary Garrett, Alexander Garrett, Jacob Garrett, Cooper Garrett, Kelsey Fry, and Koby Fry.

Funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 25, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Jack Garrett, Alex Garrett, Jacob Garrett, Koby Fry, Kelsey Fry, Danny Udouj, David Schenk, and Brian Taylor.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, August 24, followed by the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
