Roxie Jo Dodson, 89, of Van Buren, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022 in Fort Smith. She was born in Crossett, AR to the late William and Grace (Aiken) Malloy. She was a member of Van Buren First Assembly of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph James Dodson; a stepdaughter, Sue Garner; a sister, Jean Malloy; and a granddaughter, Cindy.
She is survived by a daughter, Diane Baker and husband Mark of Van Buren; a stepdaughter, Freta Smith and husband Herbert of Van Buren; a sister, Dot Morton of Jena, LA; two grandchildren, Morgan Lockwood and husband Lance of Fort Smith, and Mark Smith of Van Buren; and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
