Sedonia Boyd, 64, of Alma, AR, died Sunday, June 12, 2011 in a local hospital. She was born November 25, 1946 in New Orleans, LA. She was a Seamstress and a member of river Fellowship in Alma, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Jaminson and Beatrice Boyd; a daughter, Elizabeth Boyd and grandson, Jacob Boyd.
She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Jackson and her husband John of Alma, AR and Tina Boyd of Houston, TX; stepmother, Rose Jaminson of New Orleans, LA; a step sister, Veronica Walker of New Orleans, LA; a brother, Clarence Boyd of New Orleans, LA; twenty grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Melvin Boyd, John Jackson, Ernest Boyd, Bo Franklin, Shane McCormick and Nick Hansen.
Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Mount McCurry Cemetery in Rudy, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 15, 2011 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
