Sherry Brant, 86, of Van Buren, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 in Fort Smith. She was born September 26, 1935 in Van Buren to the late Harley and Verda (Cromwell) Bailey. She attended the Assembly of God Church and was known to help others in their time of need. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Brant.
She is survived by a son, Randy Brant of Kibler; a sister, Brenda Hill and husband Jerry of Alma; and a grandson, Kevin Brant of Van Buren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2022 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Jordan Baley, Jacob Speir, Robert Peterson, Heath Beckham, Jason Hopp, and Eric Richards.
The family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2022, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
