

Shirley Simpson, 57, of Cedarville, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017. She was born April 7, 1960 in St. Louis to the late William and Beulah Lee Mitchell. She worked at Brownwood Life Care Center in Fort Smith.
She is survived by two daughters, Janie Boyer of Van Buren, and Kendra Stark and husband Shea of Potosi, MO; four sons, Reldon “Joe” Boyer, Jr. of Van Buren, John Boyer and wife Emily of Lacey, WA, Jason Boyer and wife Tamatha of Cedarville, and Timothy Simpson II of Cedarville; three sisters; two brothers; eight grandchildren, Lea Boyer, Hailey Sweetland and Trenton Sweetland, all of Van Buren, Ben Boyer and Blake Boyer, both of Lacey, WA, Kevin Boyer of Cedarville, and Lucas Stark and Tatum Stark of Potosi, MO; and a great-granddaughter, Autumn Winters.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Joe Boyer, John Boyer, Jason Boyer, Timothy Simpson, Trenton Sweetland, and Hailey Sweetland.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2017, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
