Sidney Robert Eoff, 92, of Mountainburg, AR, died Friday, August 19, 2011 in a local hospital. He was born July 18, 1919 in Paris, AR. He was a former employee of Whirlpool, a member of Pigeon Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Mountainburg, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by two sons, Robert James Eoff and Johnny Ray Eoff.
He is survived by his wife, Evalena, of the home; a daughter, Virginia Eoff of Hanover Park, IL; a son, Kenneth Eoff of Reno, NV; three sisters, Zettie Faldon of Clarksville, AR, Lorene Figley of Houston, TX, and Susie Owens of Arizona; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Edwards Van-Alma Chapel with burial at the Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Allen, John Beller, Scott Dyer, Stanley Gabbard, Jimmy King and Dwayne Fields.
