Stephen Craig Loyd

Stephen Craig Loyd, 68, of Rudy, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 in Fort Smith. He was born June 12, 1955 in Van Buren to the late Harold and Edna (Gunn) Loyd. He served in the U.S. Army and worked for Golden Living and Beverly Enterprises as a computer programmer. He was a member of Vista Free Will Baptist Church in Van Buren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Loyd.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Loyd of the home; daughter, Haley Hall and her husband Brad of Rudy; son, Mason Loyd of Bentonville and three grandchildren, Hadleigh, Aniston and Breeden Hall.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Oliver Springs Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Terry Carris, Gary Hoover, Brian Kirkendoll, Roger Tetik, Brad Hall, and Jerry White.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 9, 2023, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
