Sun “Sue” Richmond, 76, of Van Buren, passed away Friday, April 15, 2022 in Fort Smith. She was born July 15, 1945 in Seoul, Korea. She was retired from Sparks Regional Medical Center – Fort Smith, was a member of Shibley Baptist Church, and was a Beauty Control representative.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Richmond; a daughter, Aleceia Layne; and two sons, James Keith Layne and John Richmond.
She is survived by a sister, Sun-Sim Yi of South Korea; three grandchildren, Destiny Layne, Justin Layne, and Anthony Layne and wife Jennifer; and two great-grandchildren, Alaska Layne and Cedric Layne.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
